300 hectares of forest has been restored in Kunar

The local officials of Kunar say that following the wars of the last two decades, Pakistan's missile attacks and timber smuggling, about three thousand hectares of forest have been destroyed in this province. They add that with the cooperation of donor institutions, at least 300 hectares of these forests have been restored and to prevent wood smuggling, the Green Section forces have also been activated in this province. Kunar is one of the provinces where most of its areas are covered with forests, but these forests have suffered a lot of damage.
